Usually we start a project for a building facility in excel, by arranging the functional space program in department spaces, sub-departments, the number of such spaces repeated, required area space by space, etc.

If the project is a big one, we need too much time and effort to transfer the information contained in spreadsheets to Revit to provide the required space program with all the information as a list of rooms, plus there is a risk of data loss or errors if we perform this task manually.

In BIM6D, we have developed a dynamo node that allows transfer this information to spaces in Revit (rooms) with just one click, so we get link quickly and accurately all information from excel, which will become part of the BIM workflow between the Project Manager and the BIM modeling team.
